Inert natural foam from acidic volcanic rock with a thermal process such as to cause the expansion to obtain a granular material sterile, chemically inert, free of pathogens, non-polluting, neltempo durable, lightweight and highly porous and therefore able to absorb high Amount of liquid.
The use of perlite in agriculture and floriculture:
- substrate for rooting cuttings of woody (shrubs, etc..) and herbaceous (carnations, geraniums, chrysanthemums, Ficus, Sansevieria, etc.)..
- Inert for hydroponics and soilless of flowers and vegetables.
- When mixed with peat, soil and other materials to increase the lightness.
- Inert storage of bulbs and tubers.
- perfectly sterile substrate free of pathogens.
- Reduces the frequency of attacks pathogens at the roots.
- Easy to use either alone or in mixtures.
- Promotes the development of plants for the optimum air / water.
- Improves oxygenation of the roots.
