The Perlite

Inert natural foam from acidic volcanic rock with a thermal process such as to cause the expansion to obtain a granular material sterile, chemically inert, free of pathogens, non-polluting, neltempo durable, lightweight and highly porous and therefore able to absorb high Amount of liquid.

The use of perlite in agriculture and floriculture:

- substrate for rooting cuttings of woody (shrubs, etc..) and herbaceous (carnations, geraniums, chrysanthemums, Ficus, Sansevieria, etc.)..

- substitute for peat in the cultivation of gerberas, carnations, etc..

- Inert for hydroponics and soilless of flowers and vegetables.

- When mixed with peat, soil and other materials to increase the lightness.

- Inert storage of bulbs and tubers.
